Mission

AECIS aims at the protection and valorisation of European agri-food and wine products, also taking into account related aspects such as nutrition, wellness, sustainability, innovation, certification, advanced traceability and food and wine tourism.

Enhancing European products,
with an eye on well-being
and sustainability

In particular, the Association promotes the following activities in order to achieve its statutory purposes:

  • action for the promotion and enhancement of European agri-food and wine products, with a focus on EU quality schemes;
  • dissemination, information and training action, in Italy and abroad, on the meanings, values and realities of European food and wine production and, more generally, on EU quality schemes;
  • research action on topics of general interest (starting with innovation and sustainability);
  • action to enhance and promote tourism through agricultural production and agri-food activities;
  • action to promote gastronomic tourism and all forms of related activities, including those carried out by associations for the promotion of cultural, economic, recreational and environmental activities;
  • advisory action in favour of members;
  • action to promote exchanges of information of common interest among members and between them and other economic and financial entities in Italy and abroad;
  • all activities deemed useful for the achievement of the Association's purposes.
